Old Business
- Irwin Nathanson fired up his OO-scale LNER A4 No. 4468 live steam locomotive at the June meeting.
- The Gold Coast Layout Open House was held Saturday, June 27, at Cade’s home. Both G-scale and HO-scale layouts were featured.
- Fred Duerner reported that ten Ford Model A automobiles participated in the Stow House Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration.
- Fred also invited club members to his home at 610 Glen Annie Road for an afternoon gathering. Members were asked to bring meat and a side dish and to drive carefully so as not to spook the horses.
New Business
- December Club Dinner venue discussion:
- Possible venues: Timbers or Andersen’s.
- The club received a favorable price from Timbers last year because of a scheduling error; that rate is not expected this year.
- Andersen’s was suggested last year.
- If Andersen’s is selected, members could visit the Bossé Toy Train Museum afterward. No food or drinks would be available at the museum.
- Volunteers are needed to get pricing from Timbers and Andersen’s for approximately 25–30 people.
